Skills on Wheels Training Program organized by Lend A Hand India, a GoI Initiative

The MJC campus hosted the Government of India’s Skills on Wheels training program, organized by Lend A Hand India under the Skill India Mission, on the 07th and 08th of July 2025. The event welcomed active participation from students of MJCOE (College of Education) and MJHSS (Higher Secondary School), offering them hands-on exposure to vocational modules such as mobile repair, electrical wiring, tailoring, basic healthcare, and digital literacy. Delivered through a Wi-Fi-enabled mobile lab, the sessions were facilitated by expert trainers and focused on blending practical skill-building with career orientation. This initiative enabled students to engage in experiential learning activities, broaden their understanding of employability skills, and gain a deeper appreciation for the link between education and real-world applications. MJC’s collaboration in this endeavor reflects its commitment to holistic student development and support for national efforts to empower youth through inclusive, skill-based education.
