On June 3, 2024, first-year B.Ed students from the 2023-2025 batch at Michael Job Memorial College of Education for Women participated in the World Environment Day event organized by the NSS. The theme for the event was “Planting Herbal Garden.” During the event, the students actively engaged in planting 20 different herbal plants, each labeled with its botanical name. This initiative not only contributed to the beautification and ecological enhancement of the college campus but also provided the students with valuable knowledge about herbal plants and their benefits. The event underscored the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, aligning with the global efforts to protect and nurture our natural resources.
