In the direction of the Government of India, the “Partition Horrors Remembrance Day” was observed
on 14th Aug 2024 to honor the victims and remember the suffering caused by the 1947 partition of India and promote unity and social harmony.
The event was presided by Dr. R. Ravi, Principal of MJCOE. The day was commemorated by the students and faculty members sharing their vibrant display of patriotism through soulful songs, captivating dances, and heartfelt speeches. This day served as a poignant reminder of the struggles and sacrifices of millions of Indians who were displaced and lost their lives due to the partition.
