In a vibrant step toward ecological sustainability and biodiversity enhancement, MJCOE proudly hosted the Palm Tree Seeds Planting Drive 2025 within its campus as part of its flagship Green Roots Initiative. This event was conducted in alignment with the Tamil Nadu Government’s directive to promote palm tree growth, recognizing the tree’s vital role in water conservation, soil protection, and rural livelihoods. The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff, who collectively planted hundreds of palm seeds across designated green zones within the campus. The initiative not only aimed to increase green cover but also to raise awareness about the environmental and economic significance of palm trees in Tamil Nadu’s agro-ecological landscape. Through this effort, MJCOE reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship, nurturing a greener future for generations to come.
