National Service Scheme (NSS)

NSS stands for National Service Scheme, which is a public service program under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. NSS aims to engage young students in voluntary community service to address various social issues and contribute to nation-building.

The NSS at MJCOE is a student-driven initiative that reflects our commitment to community service and social responsibility. It offers the platform for students to actively engage in community service, personal growth, and social development. Through NSS, we nurture a sense of empathy, leadership, and civic engagement among students by providing opportunities to serve society.

Integrating NSS into MJCOE provides students with valuable opportunities to engage in meaningful community service, develop essential skills and competencies, and cultivate a sense of civic engagement and social responsibility that aligns with the ethos of teacher education. It also fosters a deeper understanding of educational issues and challenges faced by diverse communities, thereby preparing future educators to be socially conscious and empathetic professionals.

Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a voluntary initiative supported by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) in India. It aims to promote awareness about HIV/AIDS, prevent the spread of the disease, and reduce stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS. Establishing a Red Ribbon Club in MJCOE is a valuable initiative to engage student teachers in HIV/AIDS prevention and advocacy activities.

The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) at MJCOE is an initiative to create awareness about HIV/AIDS and promote healthy practices among students and the community. The club aims to empower students to become ambassadors of change in spreading awareness and combating stigma. It educates students about safe practices, preventive measures, and the importance of fostering health-conscious behaviors.

Youth Red Cross (YRC)

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is a program initiated and operated by the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), a humanitarian organization recognized globally for its efforts in providing aid and support during emergencies and disasters. The YRC specifically targets young people, aiming to involve them in humanitarian activities, community service, and health promotion initiatives.

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) at MJCOE is part of a global humanitarian network dedicated to serving society. By aligning with the principles of humanity, impartiality, and serving others, YRC focuses on empowering students to make a positive impact in their communities. YRC emphasizes compassion, voluntary service, and teamwork, preparing students to be active contributors to community development.

Youth Red Cross program plays a vital role in empowering young people to become agents of positive change in their communities. Objectives
