MJCOE celebrated the 25th Kargil Victory Day, ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’, on 26th June 2024, to commemorate India’s triumphant victory in the Kargil War and pay tribute to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives safeguarding the nation’s borders. With the goal of shaping informed and responsible citizens, this event sought to raise awareness among the youth about their national obligations and promote inter-community understanding and harmony. To achieve this objective, the college organized a multifaceted competition comprising of Poem Writing, Composition Writing and Drawing, themed around Cultural Unity of India.
This engaging platform enabled students to express their thoughts, creativity, and perspectives on India’s rich cultural diversity, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of the nation’s unity in diversity. Through this drive, MJCOE successfully inculcated a sense of national pride, social cohesion, and responsible citizenship among its students, empowering them to become informed and active contributors to India’s progress. The event was a resounding success, yielding outstanding creative works that reflected the students’ profound grasp of India’s cultural unity and their commitment to upholding its values. The celebration was a testament to MJCOE’s commitment to fostering patriotism and national pride among its students. The event concluded with a renewed sense of national pride and a pledge to uphold the values of courage, sacrifice, and loyalty exemplified by the Kargil martyrs.
