The Faculty Refresher Program (2025-2026), entitled “TRANSFORM YOUR TEACHING THROUGH AI TOOLS AND LEARNABILITY SKILLS”, organized by IQAC, MJCOE, was held on May 29, 2025, at the Multipurpose Hall, MJCOE, bringing together faculty members from Michael Job Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Michael Job College of Arts & Science, and Michael Job Memorial College of Education for Women. The program focused on AI tools and learnability skills, fostering collaboration and transformative teaching practices. The inaugural session featured a Welcome Address by Prof. Dr. R. Gokilavani, IQAC Coordinator, MJCOE, a Presidential Address by Prof. Dr. R. Ravi, Principal of MJCOE and Deputy CEO of MJC, followed by Felicitation Addresses from distinguished institutional leaders, Major Nalini Jain, Joint-CEO, MJC, Dr. S. Shalini Packiam Kamala, Principal, MJCAS, and Mrs. P. Shanthi, Principal, MJMHSS. Expert-led sessions enriched the program, including Learnability Skills by Mr. Biju Dominic, CEO of Final Mile, Mumbai, a session on Canva by Mrs. Anitha Rose S, Faculty in Pedagogy of Computer Science, MJCOE, and a session on ChatGPT by Dr. Revathy K, Assistant Professor, MJCOE, promoting innovative pedagogical strategies. The Lunch-On Meeting fostered informal discussions on AI integration, while a hands-on activity enabled participants to creatively apply their newfound knowledge. The valedictory session included reflections, participant feedback, a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Dr. P. Thiruselvi, Assistant Professor, MJCOE, and a concluding National Anthem, marking the successful completion of the program. This initiative reinforced the significance of adaptability, digital fluency, and continuous professional development in modern education. |
