The Anti-Drug Committee (ADC) at MJCOE is committed to promoting a drug-free campus environment by creating awareness, providing support, and taking preventive measures against substance abuse. The committee actively engages students, faculty, and the community to foster a healthy, safe, and responsible educational atmosphere.
Objectives
- Awareness & Education – Conduct seminars, workshops, and campaigns to educate students about the risks and consequences of drug abuse.
- Prevention & Early Intervention – Implement proactive measures to prevent substance abuse and offer early support to individuals at risk.
- Counseling & Support Services – Provide counseling, rehabilitation guidance, and peer support networks for affected individuals.
- Collaboration & Community Outreach – Work with local authorities, health professionals, and organizations to strengthen anti-drug initiatives.
- Policy Enforcement & Campus Safety – Ensure strict adherence to anti-drug policies, rules, and regulations within the institution.
Activities
- Organizing guest lectures, campaigns, and interactive sessions on drug prevention.
- Training student volunteers to support peers and promote a drug-free environment.
- Monitoring campus areas to identify and prevent substance-related concerns.
- Collaborating with external agencies and healthcare professionals for rehabilitation and intervention programs.
- Conducting contests, discussions, and creative events to spread awareness effectively.
