The Digital Library at Michael Job Memorial College
of Education for Women supports the academic, research,
and professional development needs of student teachers
and faculty members. It complements the conventional
library by providing access to digital learning resources,
electronic publications, and online academic materials.
The institution provides access to more than 100
subscribed and freely accessible e-journals and
magazines, enabling users to explore scholarly articles,
current educational developments, research findings,
and subject-specific information. These resources
support academic assignments, seminar presentations,
project work, lesson preparation, and research activities.
The college has also utilized the N-LIST
(National Library and Information Services Infrastructure
for Scholarly Content) facility to support access to
scholarly electronic resources. The institution is
currently transitioning towards the ONOS
(One Nation One Subscription) initiative to facilitate
access to academic research publications through the
applicable subscription arrangements.
The Digital Library encourages independent learning,
information literacy, academic exploration, and the
effective use of digital resources in teacher education.
It supports B.Ed. and M.Ed. students and faculty members
in strengthening subject knowledge, developing research
skills, and keeping abreast of emerging trends in education.
Through its digital learning initiatives, the institution
