Intramural and Extramural Activities play an essential role in fostering a well-rounded educational experience, promoting personal growth, teamwork, and social engagement. These activities are events that take place outside of the regular classroom or academic curriculum and are designed to provide students with additional learning experiences, socialization opportunities, teamwork, community-building and personal growth.
Intramural Activities
Intramural activities are organized within the boundaries of an institution, involving participants from the same institution. These are designed to facilitate community-building and participation. These activities provide a safe environment for skill development fostering camaraderie and healthy competition among peers and encourage leadership and team-building abilities.
Furthermore, such activities contribute to the emotional and social well-being of students by reducing stress and fostering a positive campus atmosphere. Through regular participation, students learn the importance of discipline, time management, and mutual respect. Intramural programs also strengthen institutional identity by bringing students together and nurturing a spirit of unity and belonging.
