MJCOE organized a funciton on 10th Feb 2025 to celebrate the International Women’s Day observed annually on 8th March. The event was prseided by Dr. R. Ravi, deputy-CEO, MJC and Principal, MJCOE with the gracious presence of the faculty members and enthusiastic participation of the students. The celebration began with a series of literary speeches by the students emphasizing the importance of gender equality, women empowerment and the significant contributions of women in various fields. The audience also enjoyed dance and skit performance by the students that depicted the challenges and triumphs of women in society. The celebration also highlighted that traditional tamil pattimandram, debating on “What contributes to the development of women, place of birth or place of marriage?” Dr. Revathy K, Assistant Professor at MJCOE, served as the judge for the debate. The debate was conducted with great enthusiasm and respect, showcasing the intellectual prowess and eloquence of the participants. The Women’s Day celebrations at MJCOE proved to be a testament to the college’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women.
