MJCOE organized the Christmas celebrations for the year 2024 on the 19th of December marking a memorable event for the entire MJC Institutions community. The festivities were conducted under the esteemed headship of Dr. R. Ravi, Principal of MJCOE, and coordinated by Mrs. R. Sheela, Assistant Professor, MJCOE. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. P. Thiruselvi, Assistant Professor, MJCOE, who emphasized the importance of togetherness and joy. The presidential address by Mr. Babu P Varu, Secretary & Trustee of MJC Institutions, and the felicitation by Neighbor Tom Cropper from Love in Action Society, USA, set a positive tone for the celebrations that followed. Rev. James Willingson, Regional Overseer of AG Churches & Senior Pastor at Kovai City AG Church, Coimbatore, delivered the chief guest address for the gathering. His inspiring speech resonated with the audience and added a special touch to the event. The event was glorified with special song by Mr. J. Jonathan Paul, Worship Leader, Kovai City AG Church and with special address by Dr. Jaya Mahesh, Fitness Therapist, Coimbatore.
The program included a variety of activities and performances that showcased the talents of the students and faculty members. The melodious carol singing by the choir group spread the festive cheer and brought a sense of unity among the attendees. A beautifully enacted nativity play by the students depicted the birth of Jesus Christ, highlighting the essence of Christmas. Enthusiastic dance performances by students from various departments added vibrancy to the celebrations. The faculty members of the MJC educational institutions were honored by Sr. Adv. K. Pradeep Raj, Director-Legal Affairs, MJC Institutions and Mr. Thomas Mathew, Chief Auditor, Trivandrum. Santa Claus made a special appearance, distributing gifts and spreading joy among the children and adults alike. The entire campus was adorned with beautiful Christmas decorations, including a grand Christmas tree, lights, and festive ornaments. A festive feast and merriment filled the air, bringing together the entire MJC Institutions community. The Christmas celebrations were a grand success, bringing together the MJC Institutions community to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. The event was a testament to the collaborative efforts of the students, faculty, and administration. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. M. Mohana Priya, MJCAS, expressing gratitude to everyone involved in making the event a resounding success, followed by the Closing Prayer and Benediction by Rev. James Willingson.
