MJCOE successfully organized a 2-day comprehensive virtual Faculty Development Program (FDP)
on “Critical & Creative Thinking Skills” on 05th and 06th August 2024. Presided over by Principal Dr. R. Ravi, the program emphasized the importance of developing thinking skills among teachers to create effective classrooms and learning environments for today’s students. The FDP, coordinated by Dr. J. Immanuvel Johnson and Dr. P. Thiruselvi, attracted widespread participation with 1,689 registrations from faculty members across India and abroad, and 1,372 attendees.
The program featured renowned experts, including Mr. Biju Dominic, Chief Evangelist Officer at Fractal Analytics, who delivered the keynote address on Day 1, highlighting critical thinking skills, and Dr. P. Thiruselvi, Assistant Professor at MJCOE, who explored creative thinking skills on Day 2.
Conducted via Google Meet and live-streamed on YouTube, the FDP provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building among educators. The program concluded with an address of gratitude by Prof. Dr. R. Gokilavani, Director – IQAC, MJCOE, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to faculty development and academic excellence.
