On 3rd June 2024, MJCOE observed World Environment Day with a fervent commitment to
environmental protection and sustainability. The event commenced with an inspiring inaugural
address by Dr. R. Ravi, Principal of MJCOE, emphasizing the significance of environmental
conservation and the role of individuals in mitigating climate change. This was followed by a
symbolic tree plantation drive, where about twenty saplings of medicinal value were planted in the
form of herbal garden, providing a tangible contribution to the institution’s ecological footprint. The
event saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members, students, and community members,
fostering a sense of collective responsibility towards environmental stewardship. Through this
initiative, MJCOE reaffirmed its dedication to promoting eco-friendly practices, sustainability, and
environmental consciousness. The success of the event marked the beginning of a sustained effort
to integrate environmental awareness into the institution’s culture, encouraging students, staff, and
the community to adopt environmentally responsible behaviors. By observing World Environment
